The work involves designing new and novel synthetic peptides for therapeutic, sensing, or material applications. The focus will be on designing peptides with improved biological activity while minimizing toxicity. Also, incorporating unnatural residues will be explored to increase stability toward enzymatic degradation to improve bioavailability in vivo.
